Despite this forum being dead, I still wanted to post an update with my truck to give hope to others who have given up on the nitro MT aspect of the hobby considering how many sad changes there have...

RE: Savage reincarnation

The TVPs have been decent, the engine plates however- like I mentioned earlier.

I put a few more tanks on the truck and it was great apart from breaking an aftermarket CF tie rod. Receiver pack...

RE: Opposed Piston OPRE RC engine with tilting valves

Some interesting things on your page, I will have to do some more reading. I just graduated with my ME degree and would like to focus more towards IC engine design, good inspiration.

RE: Support your local hobby shop? ITN

Scratch that, I walked into the shop to buy plugs today. $9 a pop now, ridiculous. From now on I'm only an online customer.

RE: Question for Savox owners

I think I'll get rid of both just cause I don't want to deal with any possible issues coming up. Kind of pissed off about this, so many good reviews about these and no mention of these issues until I...

RE: Question for Savox owners

Question for Savox owners

Wanted to see if anyone has the same issues out of curiosity. I upgraded my Savage to the 1256tg and 1258tg, threw in a brand new HPI 1200 hump pack and hooked it up to my trusty Futaba 3PM 2.4ghz....

086 pipe exhaust deflector

Due to the stinger design on this pipe, is there one that fits or a solution someone has come up with? I couldn't find anything searching.

RE: Adjusting Savage X 4.6 Brakes

I've used every stock setup there is from the Savage 25 single fiber disk to the twin SS and finally the twin fiber discs. The single disk would always overheat and fade, after 5 gallons or so the...

RE: Trouble finding mid tank mod parts

Yes I went through 3 tanks this year and I only ran a gallon of fuel if that much, it was really pissing me off. I've gone through 5-6 tanks since I bought the Savage back in '04.

Another thing...
