RE: 3DX "Fat Boy"

No Airfoil, flat as a pancake.

It might be cheaper for you to find someone in the states to buy a bundle of blue core (fan fold foam) and ship it to you. $180 for foam is nuts!

RE: 3DX "Fat Boy"

The only reason to soak it is if you by it by buying the poster board in a craft store that is depron core with paper laminated to it. The paper weighs a lot! Soaking lets you remove it.

RE: 3DX "Fat Boy"

I am goig to mount the motor by using the same stick/cf rod method but with only a short piece of cf rod, not full length. I'll just take it back to the wing LE.

Using depron after soaking is...

I have altered my homebuilt foamie to use a 10 X 7 prop instead of the 8/6 that I designed around. The 8 X 6 just did not give it enough climbing power to get up to altitude for fun or recover after...

Why does the V-tail mixing not have an option for using the left stick only?

For airplanes with no ailerons or using ailerons and elevator control on the v-tail only. The v-mix should give the option to use channel 1 & 2.

Are the channels 2/4 the usual set up for V-tail?...
