RE: New 53cc engine now available

Greg,
If you send an e-mail to Al, he will get back with you. Something happened in the forums that upset him. Methinks that he has taken a hiatus for awhile and I as some others hope that it is...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Thanks,
Ex Hitec flier, same as Futaba. I switched out the charging jack in the TX as well. Other than that I'm getting excited about this. Gotta get with Aerobob in the next day or two and make...

RE: Spektrum DX-7

Just setting up two planes, so what are you guys dialing in for expo values with the DX7? For instance if one was using 20% to 30% on 72Mhz, what would be a good place to start with the DX7? Don't...

RE: New 53cc engine now available

Silver,
Exactly, that's why I'm trying to gather as much information as possible. Unfortunately there is not much information available as you can see from what I have tried to find out so far ;).

RE: New 53cc engine now available

RE: New 53cc engine now available

Al,
Been subscribed to your thread, glad you are back at it :D. Sent an e-mail to BCMA after our PM conversation and still have not been contacted yet. I'm not sure that the Edge and the Extra have...

RE: 53cc TOC Engine

Thnaks for your input. What is your distance from the firewall to the front of the cowl? Looks like my Extra is about 7" to 7 1/8" and i kinda need to know what to order, so I can mount this engine...

53cc TOC Engine

O.K. Guys,
At least three vendors in the U.S. are re-selling these engines. Dawghouse RC, Wildhare RC and BCMA. I have no idea how many Dawghouse and BCMA have sold. I know that Tom at Wildhare...

RE: New 53cc engine now available

Silver,
No need to ooops trying to help ;). Thought that Tom or maybe one of the 12 guys that got one on sale might know. If I buy one of these, I want to make sure I have what's needed to mount it...

RE: New 53cc engine now available

Silver,
Thanks, I was actually looking at the proper distance from the firewall to spinner backplate spacing with this particular engine. Guess I should have been more specific :).

RE: New 53cc engine now available

Hi All,
Gotta say that I'm pretty interested in this engine. What are you guys using for standoffs on the new style 28% Extras and Edges?

Hey Guys,
My Extra 300 arrived today, what a nice aircraft :D. One end of the aluminum wing tube was damaged (scuffed up and egg shaped on one end) and will not fit the wing panels. The other side...

RE: Let's try again DL-50

This is probably why I'm going to buy one of Ralph's G-62's. I haven't checked with him yet for sure, but I do know that Horizon will not warranty a new Zenoah if bought elsewhere. I have the feeling...

RE: New Engine now available

Thanks for the info. For myself, I'd rather pay a little more and have the extra years warranty. Of course warranties don't mean anything when you dirtnap the engine :D.

RE: New Engine now available

hvac,
A couple of questions for you and I have sent an e-mail to Scott. You are advising a 2 year warranty and Scott's website advises 1 year, which is correct? I have the new style Wildhare Extra...

RE: Sig Mayhem 3D ARF

Try the prop that you have and see how the plane flies then adjust from there. I have a 16 X 6 APC to start with on my YS 110. If that is too much prop I'll try the 16.5 X 5W that I have. Mixed...

To add to this just a little, Make absolutely sure that you use a charge lead with correct
