RE: Launchers

Dear clean and demon, "There you go again...", said Ronald Regan.

The whole point of the last posting was to advise interested and helpful parties to make reply-postings, focused on a...

RE: Launchers

Please.... spare us any more political/ego-gratifying, not-edifying posts that lack an obligate degree of specificity... Get the real thing and try it... or let it alone.

Perhaps it is you who...

RE: Launchers

Although I have hand launched many different model aircraft, this little round Corsair with caster oil sprayed on the fuse from the exhaust, leaves it slippery and without purchase for even my big...

RE: Launchers

The need for launchers has nothing to do with "POWA" ; rather it is the need to launch when you arrive at the flying field and no one else is there, or no one there wants to get hot castor oil on...

Launchers

The popularity of the GP Combat Corsair and Mustang will drive someone to build the ultimate launch mechanism or cart for that size aircraft. The launchers used for sail planes do not accommodate a...

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

AceP51: Thanks for the Kudos. How much does your Corsair weigh with all the upgrades?

ARF guy: Don't know why you are having the strange fuel dispersion but here is a picture of my engine and...

RE: Plugging a 4stroke in a 0.10 size plane?

I am not unhappy with the Saito 30 even if not as fast. It pulls the Corsair smoothly and surely and is really not too heavy for the GPCC... in fact it might be a perfect weight. Guess I will just...

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

Since no one else seems to have put the Saito 30 into the Corsair I went ahead with it anyway and today was the maiden "fright".

It didn't seem as fast as my friend's Mustang with the OS 25....

RE: Plugging a 4stroke in a 0.10 size plane?

Today was the maiden "fright" for my Combat Corsair with its Saito 30 up front. It didn't seem as fast as my friend's Mustang with the OS 25. Maybe it was just the "mosquito-on-steroids" sound of...

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

Has anyone mounted a Saito 30 on the Combat Corsair? What mount did you use?

I never understand why there are so many "wet blankets" ready to douse the flame of a good idea. If you like I will send an email to those two blokes and pose the question regarding ARF's. If there...

RE: P-47D Thunderbolt ModelTech ARF

Looking at the Model Tech Dragon Lady to use as a "warm up" aircraft led me to the P-47D as a consideration for that spot. The DL wing-span is 66" and has 872 sq.in. or 6.06 sq.ft. which gives it a...
