RE: Carl Goldberg PITTS S12 MONSTER

Still flying mine, saito 180, sullivan smoke pump. No real bad habits, super chipmunks have more induced snap roll tendencies than this bird. Good solid biplane. Anyone that says it glides like...

RE: Carl Goldberg PITTS S12 MONSTER

I would have to somewhat disagree.........it has never been so cheap to get so much in this hobby and I have only been in it for 20 years. I paid $300 for a 6 channel futaba conquest, and $100 for...

RE: Carl Goldberg PITTS S12 MONSTER

Mine is still going strong after 2.5 years. Flown summer and winter. Just replaced the saito 150 with a 180 and have put on 2 flights since then. Had a bit of a opps yesterday, nice slow drag...

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

Plane is not for 3d at all. The saito 150 in mine provides more than a one to one power ratio. I can hover for a few seconds at a time, then it falls off due to lack of control surface area for...

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

I think that would be a waste.....too heavy and you would hardly see it. I would put that engine on a cowless waco or stearman.

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

Ya, i have been considering that one too. Maybe with a saito 220 or a da50. The cg pitts is just easier to transport. I definatletly have bipe fever now. I also have the small nitroplanes...

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

I just sold my last super tigre and my last 2 stroker. Great power...when they run. Your fuel should be fine, make sure you shake it up before you use it. Make sure you never nicked a fuel line...

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

No problem, glad you liked them. I wish i had the video camera working as the coolest move was full throttle vertical snap rolls, you would almost loose the plane in the smoke.

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

Ok Ok....hmmm...you do need some blue to cover over your strut mounting bolt holes on the sides of the fuse... and well maybe some color matched pull ties for your aileron wires.. ;)

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

I admit it looks good :D........doesn't flood out the carb when you fill your tank? You just need some pinstripping for the blue/yellow joint....I can't believe how much more visual effect it has...

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER
