My OS 1.08 has been flying mine just fine for 8 yrs and over 300 flights. I've even used it for a glider tug and had more than enough power. Did I mention our field is at 8700' elevation?

If the interior is drywalled, there's a good chance the walls are insulated. Just cut a small (4"x4") hole in the drywall and see if there is insulation. Could save you a lot of work.

Thanks to RCU member Launchpad McQuack we have found an experienced Byron modeler in the same town as the buyer to repair the plane. Thanks for everyones help on this!!! It will fly one of these days!

The belts are Gates 5M450 PolyFlex. I had my local auto parts store order me a set. Any parts store that sells Gates should be able to order them for you.
