RE: Knife edge trimming question

In addition to my previous post, to my surprise, these changes affected the left rudder knife edge problem. Straight flight is still straight, inverted flight still needs a little down elevator,...

RE: Knife edge trimming question

Do you mean to add negative stap incidence only to one half of the stab and leave the other one the same? I can try this but wouldn't that cause some other major problems?

RE: Knife edge trimming question

I increased the wing incidence to 0.75 degrees and moved the CG a little forward and the problem is nearly solved. I only needed 2% rudder-elevator mix. I'm sure I can take out the mix by working...

RE: New Great Planes Revolver

CC,
I haven't used any flaperon in the Revolver but found an easy way to land. There are a few trees in our flying field so we can not make long approaches easily. So what I do with Revolver is...

RE: OS 15CVA - what racer plane?

CP,
I'm planning to make a foam wing covered with balsa and 2 carbon fiber strips thru the wing. So a 7 inch chord should not be a problem. What do you think? V-tail looks cool, right, I might do...

RE: The Dr. Jeckyll Resurrection??

Keith B is right, this plane glides very long and does not slow down easily, so you need to get used to it. But once you are familiar with the landings it is easier then a trainer.
