i use a rubberband and go around and around till i run out of "slack". they are pretty tight, but you don't want it so tight that it bends the prop.. but you can get them pretty snug..

slide on a propsaver and cut the shaft off just about even with the propsaver.. it can still bend if you doink the housing of hte motor on something, but cutting the shaft will let the prop fold...

is it a flat bottom wing or symmetrical? i thought abot doing the same thing but with a yardstick for a fuse..

you might have to slot your hinges to free them up some..

only thing missing DR and EXP is the rudder channel.. all other channels have it.. dunno why.

i have a nice JR radio and a less featured JR transmitter as a buddy box as well as a plain jane buddy box for my rds.. i dearly love how the JR to JR setup works, i have all the dual rate control...

i use control horns that have the screws on either side of the horn so my skewers will be between the screws.. i think they are great planes brand.. some of the other horns have the holes on 1...

i used dubro molded gear.. clean it well and put on some 2 sided tape to the bottom of the fuse and then support that with zip ties around the fuse and under the gear.. no hole in the fuse...

i'd try the alum angle and just make a HOR with a v tail if i couldn't get bats.. i like to try and keep all the guts on the inside.. but if you can't, just make it skinless and easier to work on...

i have seen some wider flatbats.. big red ones at walmart. . but the wall is much thinner.. not sure if they would work.. go with the yellow whiffle and a square battery pack and all...

someone was explaining the heli mode to me.. you need to choose the right type "head" setup for it to work.. maybe others can clarify and maybe the default option for this is the right one..

my first rx went in a FIK glider conversion.. it's still in it. and i can fly it with others not worrying about the frequency board. that's all there is too it. since all 2.4 radios are not...

that's very good to know.. i have done the same thing with my other radio. i re-centered all my servo arms and then noticed that my flap switch was moved.. i forgot i had it programmed in.. ...
