RE: Stalingrad off topic?

Sevastopol was the scene of very heavy fighting. The Germans attempted to take the city numerous times but were beaten back by Soviet troops landed by sea. They were forced instead to siege the city,...

RE: Fun to watch, but not historically accurate....

Was that directed at me? I've seen what passes for American history education first hand. When it comes to WW2, THIS IS IT. And people wonder why US foreign policy is so screwed up.

RE: Stalingrad off topic?

Germany's war effort took a nose dive the moment Hitler took control away from his generals in '41. They never wanted to invade Russia. They certainly didn't want to capture Stalingrad, a city with...

RE: Tamiya Panzer IV 1/35 RC Build

They are pricey. Even his very basic kit cost in excess of £100. I could literally have bought 3 HLs with that. But I wanted to build a Tamy and this is a good starter lit.

There's a chap...

RE: Worst tank of WWII

Thanks! I like the design of the British tanks, particularly the Valentine. They look 'good'. But they were poor in every real sense because of stupid politics and bad thinking and they can't be...

RE: Comparing RC tanks Tamiya - Torro Wsn - HL

If it weren't for Heng Long, I would never have discovered the joy of RC tanking.

RE: Worst tank of WWII

Worst tank of WW2? For me it would have to the late-model British cruiser tanks like the Crusader. There were poorer tanks out there for sure, but they were inferior due to their vintage (the Italian...
