After going to my local shop, I'm thinking I'll get the RC8.2e RTR, looks pretty solid, and had plenty of parts upgradable.

Thanks for replies.

The more I look the more I'm not 100% sold on the duratrax.

The Team Associated RC8.2e RTR also has my eye, it's a little more expensive. Not sure I'm getting any money...

Getting back into hobby, after some advice!

Been ages since I've posted, but I'm thinking of getting back into the hobby.

So far I'm basically only looking at the Duratrax 835e 1/8 brushless buggy, seems pretty good, for the price can't...

RE: Turning a TT01 into an Off-Roader

Was that a 10% or 15% discount you just got

Problem with the B4 is that it is 2wd, and a tad more fragile as it is alot more race orientated. And the DF-03 can really be upgraded, and...

RE: New car

It may be an idea to buy 2 second hand chassis's (onroader and offroader) and swap the elctronics between them.

I did it for awhile, I was much happier than trying to jump and go off-road with...

RE: How to get LOTS of negative camber on a TT-01

Yeah I was so close to doing a big order of parts from my TT-01, but then I thought, I hardly drive the thing, why do I need CVD's, ball diffs and all the carbon fibre parts they make for it

RE: New car

www.rcmart.com I find is great for parts and upgrades, but shipping to the US can take like 3 weeks, and is more expensive on shipping.

For the chassis itself, www.towerhobbies.com is great.

Ball bearings, aluminium drive shaft, oil filled shocks, carbon stiffner brace, CVD's, ball diffs....???

The list goes on to what you could do, look at www.rcmart.com and look for TT-01...

RE: New car

Buying from tower last I checked you could get one for closer to $150-$160USD but if you wait a few months a discount may come up and get it for $20 cheaper or so.

But I hope you know, to drift...

RE: How to get LOTS of negative camber on a TT-01

That's alright then.

Also, stock it does not have "bearings". It has plastic bushings.

If your upgrading, I would go for a drive shaft aswell, very cheap and great to have.

RE: Turning a TT01 into an Off-Roader

OK the TT-01 could be made a bit more off-road, you would need rally tires which you can buy from www.rcmart.com but you would also need to find longer shocks, and they TT-01 can't really be jacked...

RE: New car

RE: How to get LOTS of negative camber on a TT-01

Ummmm... Ummmm... Ummmm...?

Why?

You will trash the internals running with no bearings.

Really wouldn't recomend this to anyone.

RE: New - Looking for 1st Electric Car

XXX-S, TC4, TB-02, TA-05, TT-01 (bit cheaper)??

Few more choices?

All would be fun, chose what you looks nice. I would go shaft if I was you, probably a more simple design (TT-01 or TB-02)...

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread

The more common thing is for onroad tracks to run a stock, mod and a 540 class. The 540 class is limited to Tamiya Silver cans or Sports tuned. Quite...
