Thanks guys! I basically have a cap and the metal barrel that the filter bag connects to, but nothing else on the old UAT is usable, or at least anything I'd feel comfortable with. Long story...

Rebuilding BVM UAT. Source for brass fittings?

Does anyone have a good source for the brass fittings on a BVM UAT? I've been all over McMaster-Carr and I couldn't find them.

Thanks!

Comp Arf Euro fuel tank removal

Evening everyone,

I've got an old Comp Arf Euro on the bench right now and I'm trying to figure out if there's any "simple" way to get the fuel tanks out. The plane has in the intake duct, and...

RE: 2006 Hot Springs Extreme Aerobatic Club Show Oct.13-15th

Paul, I will be there! Where do I sign up for the dinner cruise?

Also, will there be any camping at the field? I will be at a hotel, but some friends may want to camp.

RE: Fly with Frank Noll Jr., Sean McMurtry, Bill Cunningham, Blaine Austin &

Tim,

It was awesome last year, and I'm going to try to make it again this year. I can't make any promises just yet, but I think it should work.

RE: Come Fly with Chip Hyde, Jason Shulman & Sean McMurtry at the EAC Memphis Indoor.

This is gonna be HUGE! There's gonna be a ton of open flying, great prizes, and great music. Plus, the Pyramid is prolly' the best place for an indoor fly-in next to a blimp hangar.

RE: I am starting to hate 3d flying

Hey Bob, what rock have you been living under? You may not like 3D, but it's obvious that it is here to stay. Some of the biggest advances electronic, aerodynamic, and powerplant design have come,...

RE: AMA members set plane on fire risking injury

Ya know, what I think we should ask for first, is for rcayatollah with a MASSIVE 4 posts, and the ,,, for his location to really show himself. He claims to be a flyer in Memphis. Let's find out:

Hitec 5945's seem stiff

I'm in the process of removing my 5945 servos from my Carden 40% Edge and putting them in a Carden 40% Extra. I'm going through and replacing all the servo gears just for good measure, but I noticed...

RE: Hitec 5475's

I haven't had any problems with them. I've got one on the throttle on my Carden Edge, and the other two have been on the rudder and elevator of a few profiles. No problems with them at all. I'm not...

RE: 3W vs. DA

I personally fly 3W engines. I haven't owned any DA engines, however almost every one of my flying buddies owns a DA. I have helped people tune 3W, DA, ZDZ, Brison, and Zenoah gas engines. I won't go...

Carden 40% Edge coupling problem

I've got a Carden 40% Edge that's got some knife edge coupling issues. According to Dennis, the plane should have little to no knife edge coupling in it when balanced between 6 1/4 and 7 inches from...

RE: Big Gasser Noise

You should just try a Mejzlik prop. My 3W 150 on Johnson mufflers is so quiet with one of those props that you almost cant hear it over sportflyers on the pattern. That H9 Edge might be a little hard...

RE: Hanger 9 Ultimate.

First off, I agree with jmiracle. 50 paces is a good range. However, since you said it does it with the wings on, and not off, then I think that you might have a problem with your aileron extensions,...

RE: Better 40% Edge Aeroworks or Carden

I would go with the Carden for flying quality. It's not an easy kit to build, but it wasn't really designed to be. Cardens can come out heavy if you aren't a good builder, but in the hands of a good...
