RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Yes, a computer radio will be needed with this plane 1-1 full rates will make this plane stupidly hard to fly.

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Worth a try, but i wouldn't count on it working as they are designed to run on completely different gear set ups.

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Ignore my last post, i thought this was the 4-site thread! I flew in 5mph winds on the maiden fine!

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

The MicroAviation 180's are great. True ratings. Are slightly fatter and wider than the E-Flite 150's and also slightly heavier, but have a lot more power and capacity.

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

The point is though, you can learn to fly better on a sim, and at the worst, sell that then get a real plane. With a plane you are on a one way street, with a second hand sim you have many different...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

But there's no point in getting a real plane and drilling it into the ground on your first flight. The sim teaches you how the plane would react to your inputs and gives you mind-musel training so it...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Which is why you get a sim, have loads of planes to fly in that, and learn if you have a nack for it or if you like it etc. be able to learn to fly, and at the worst sell it and get your money back.

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

You grow out of them quickly though, they are just for basic orientation.

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Not being negative, but with no full 4ch planes experience before, you will rock it into the ground pretty much instantly. GET A SIM, we are only trying to help you stop wasting your money so please...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

I think you should get a sim and a second hand DX6i, i did and never looked back. At the worst, if you're not into it or all that good at it you haven't stuffed a plane into the ground and you can...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Oh sorry, that might be bad board then. Try trimming slightly one way or the other, i get it with some normal servos.  If not look for rubbish in the worm gears, if still not, it's a bad board and...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

That's just the initializing sequence for the binding etc. Nothing you can do about it, it's more use than an annoyance IMO.

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

The old "aileron malfunction" ay? ;)  But seriously if that is where they lock in one direction untill you press that direction again, i keep getting that?

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Thats just a test of how it drops, not how it flys, there is the pull of the engine, the air going over the tail which lifts it up, lift of the wings etc. That's like testing how a boat floats by...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Yeh you can. It still comes with the same brick. Please use a bit of sense (not in a horrible way). And how on earth do you test fly it on your mums bed? Mine was a little tail heavy, but nothing a...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

For the sake of the little plane, do not try inverted with out putting the elevator to the outside hole, and full travel on your radio. I tried it and crashed and had to add a rod to suport the tail,...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Yeh, i wasn't doubting that. I was just saying PZ is a bit far off with releasing one, because it doesn't make sense for them to go from a 4 channel warbird, then a J-3 cub, straight to an EDF....

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

Hang on here, i'm talking about EDF's here, not just a brushless micro? And i'm also saying, yes, the technology is about, but it won't be implemented into parkzone's model for at least another one...
