I bought this at a yard sale for $50. The engine in it is an old K&B .61 and it has a ofna 2 channel radio. If anyone recognizes this it would be appreciated :)

I emailed cox and asked them if they are ever going to make more 1/2A engines. They said they will in the future if the demand is great enough.
So maybe we can get more engines if we bug the crap...

AP Wasp .061 any Good?

Is the wasp .061 any good? for $40.00 it sure looks like a nice little engine. If I did get one, what would you guys suggest? (like prop, fuel, mount, etc.) The plane I'm thinking about putting it...

Yes, the plane needed the rubberbands under the control surfaces, but the servos return to neutral on their own but instead of pushrods attacthing the servos to the control surfaces, it had some sort...

what I meant was, using the servos/receiver and battery, but getting rid of the electric motor and using glow power...

I taught myself to fly with the commander 2, and it actually flies pretty good once your used to it, my first flight it would go up and then come down in about 40 feet. It can't really fly right out...

sorry, but spinners don't protect your engine. They are just for looks and helping to 'streamline' your plane a bit more.
