I only made three minor mods.
1- enclosed the top of motor compartment. (for looks, no other benefit)
2- made a battery hatch so I would'nt have to remove the wing to swap...

It looks like you have a lot of time on the 8J. Are you using the R2006GS Rx on most?
Does range seem to be OK? I remember reading somewhere that the 6J and 8J Tx was much lower on power...
