RE: Prop powered iceboat

I think you will be better off with an AIR brake. Just use a plank of the top of the hull to raise with a servo to create alot of drag and downforce.

RE: Phase 3 EF - 16

Well, I flew it once and it is fast, I would guess at least 90Mph at full throttle, but pulls 83 amps. Flies great at about 3/4 throttle, still fast and not so loud!

I had to remove fan as it...

RE: What tubing is this?

Its metallic! He stated in the description, "Its called a motorjet or thermojet" And a post stating it is too heavy for RC plane use, but does add thrust. I think this is getting into a dangerous...

RE: Phase 3 EF - 16

I just upgraded my fan and rebuilt my f-16 recently.

RE: Need help for prop size on electric motor

Motor is a tad small and slightly higher KV than I would go for/ use. However it should work OK. I would try a 10x3.8 sf/3d prop, check your current draw and see if you can go bigger or smaller. ...

RE: PZ micro Mustang's Tx work with other planes?

Good question, since it is DSM2, does it work with the spektrum Rx's. I would say yes because I can use a dx6i with the micro's. Only thing is the range may not be the same, that would be my...

RE: What to look for in a ducted fan

Go 70mm if can fit. If you want cheap, go to Hobbyking and get one from there (THey have a combo with motor for about $25) Of if you want Good power, I'd point you to the HET or WeMoTec 70mm.

RE: Landing and turning tips for Phase 3 EF-16

For turning, I was the same the first couple flights, worried about stalling. But as long as you have some throttle on, it turns on a dime, just bank it and pull back!!

Landing is the...
