RE: Desert Kittyhawk Found

Really cool piece of history!
Ram-bro- The props would most likely bend forward under power due to the flex of the prop among other things. I know it's kind of weird to thing about though.

RE: Our fate is in this guy's hands?

I have to disagree...I think it is more of a moral thing. If I say I'm not going to drive drunk while I'm sober, I'mnot going to drive after having too many drinks. Although common sence may be...

RE: What is the stupidest thing somebody else has done to your jet?

Sometimes I wonder how the term "common sence" came about...it seems it's not so common.

Edit: spelled sence wrong!

RE: Funtana 40 - Recommended Engine for 3D

Maybe the saito 100 with 16x4w... If you want to go with a two stroke the 55ax would work well and would fit inside the cowl better than the 100.

RE: Prop Suggestion for OS .46 AX on an Extra 300S

I had the 46ax on a mojo 40 and found the best prop for me was the APC 11x4. It really wound up but it performed very well and still does after 30 gallons or so.

RE: Best 3D 30% Aircraft???

I am also using the HD 9150's on my Yak. So far they are great! Good power and centering along with good speed. I would recomend them.

RE: Best 3D 30% Aircraft???

I really like the Peakmodel Yak 54...it is light, flies well, good price and it has held up to a pretty good beating so far(20 Gallons).

Maybe tell them you need a 3/4 x 4 inch block with a 1/4 dado slot?

RE: EF Chin Yak engine/servo setup help

I would go with the 5 cell spektrum tends to have problems with anything under 6 volt packs. Have fun with that thing!

RE: Which servos for new AW 120 Yak QB?

I usually buy them from planeaddicts.com but tons of other places sell them too.

RE: Which servos for new AW 120 Yak QB?

Why not try Power HD servos? the 9150s are plenty of torque and digital, they are only about 35 bucks from planeaddicts.com

RE: Is My Trainer Plane Too fast?

It may be a personal preference of the instructor. My 2 cents would be for you to put a prop on it to help keep the top speed down. I'm guessing you have a .60 size engine on it? If so put a low...

RE: Press Release from AMA - Update on Upcoming FAA regulation changes

He did do wrong, but the punishment didn't fit the act. He did three hours of flight training and four hours of ground with and instructor that Inhofe taught to fly in the first place. If anybody...

RE: Press Release from AMA - Update on Upcoming FAA regulation changes

I would be weary of Sen. Inhofe. Isn't he the one who landed his Cessna 340 on a closed runway, with people and equiptment on it, then took off on the taxi way? He then told the local newspaper that...

RE: aeroworks planes

I have a 50cc Yak 54 from Peakmodels. I really like it so far. It is built very well and is very light. The price is better than most also. Just another alternative to think about.

RE: Pending FAA restrictions on RC

I didn't say I don't care about the rules being purposed I saidI don't have a problem with a couple of them. True, 400 feet may be a bit low for a ceiling but, I don't think we should be flying our...

RE: Pending FAA restrictions on RC

I know I am going to get it for my opinion but, I don't see the problem with having altitude restrictions and restricting RC flying within a certain distance from airports. After all, full scale...
