RE: TMAXX upgrade help for newbie/oldie

I have Maxx's and if I were buying a new MT today I would wait until Traxxas upgraded the Maxx to a BIGBLOCK and beefed up the tranny and a few other points! The Savage is a better choice as it...

RE: Savage SS - Wheelies

Avalanche is right! I takes a long long time to get this engine broke-in! I also have the Force .25 (which as stated is just about the same thing as HPI's seeing how Ofna makes it) and there was a...

They have a set on Ebay,

That is just the outside part and fit on any stock size T-Maxx rims for (I think) $40-$60 and you can take them off when your not showing off!

Yes you can,

And yes it has been done. As for the "HPI" .25 it is made by Ofna and is the same as the Force .25 with a different color head and different carb. I have a Force .25 and the only problem I had with...

I second that Dlock!

Why mess with the engine if you don't have to! There is no need to remove the motor!

If the VIP is on the up and up?

He may not have put it in a car because he knows what he has (as far as power) from experience? The NOOB more then likely cooked it because why would the VIP risk his rep?? Even though I am a honest...

I second that!

Why worry about the .21 when the .25 is coming! It's the same as the .21 but, with upgrades! I am glad that HPI came out with a new and improved model!

Get the Sport Maxx!

Although the CEN MT2 seems to be a great truck there just is not enough parts support out there yet. The Maxx on the other hand has more then anyone would ever need!

I put a 1900Mah 5 cell flat pack on my Maxx

But, I guess it depends on how much room you have?? It fit perfectly where the battery box was!

I have 2 converted Maxx's

And I had not one problem with the Durtrax Torq .21 on my first one as fare as the drive train! It worked great! I used the New Era conversion kit and that thing wheelied like crazy! I now have 2 XTM...

I posted this in that other post!

The GT looks like, (post # 13)

A big Maxx! It's very big at 22 inches with huge tires and weighing in at around 12 lbs! It sounds slow! I hope it handles good or it can do something special...

The truck is not bad!

I have a MT Pro and it is super fast! The engine is great! It's easy to tune, will idle all day and has lots of power! As far as the $300 worth of hop-ups they could have spent that "$300" on better...

Re: traxxas next big monster truck

It sounds like it is out of most peoples price range! It also sounds way to big for a track! If they want to compete with HPI then they better have it in the same price range! I want to see a...

I think,

That 3 would end up equaling to much for the engine to even engage! It would engage at such a high RPM that all you would get is wheel spin! Now if you are talking about 3 different sets of shoes and...

From what I have read about it,

It is one of the best for what it is! I would not call it an MT compared to the much bigger MT's out there! I would call it a 4x4 stadium truck or a mini MT! I have not read anything bad about it!...

I have had 2 of them and,

They are great fun and pretty darn tough as well! Only problems I have had are the diff, spur and stock shocks! The diff went out on mine in about a week or so and I replaced it twice :( I figured...

You can change % but,

I would not do that during break-in! If you are getting the 10% at a much cheaper price then the 20% then go for it but, if it cost about the same then get the 20%! You will get more power with the...

Ofna engines,

At least the 8 Port and the Force .25 are very very hard to beak-in! It took almost a gallon of fuel to get mine broke-in and running right and it is still hard to pull start even though it starts...

Although I don't think they are getting rid of the .21 engines they are just putting in the biggest engine they can into there RTR's and kits! This time next year we will be hearing about the Savage...
