I'm not sure the kits are still in production, but Pinnacle Hobbies had a small inventory last time I checked.

Hey folks, haven't posted here in a while. Thot you might like to see pics of my latest:

This is an 80" Edge 540T, which was produced by Airwild in the late 90's / early 2000s. It was produced...

RE: Moki not getting fuel

As the o-rings get old the low speed disk will start to wander due to vibration. I clean the carb thoroughly and place a drop of Goop glue where the disk meets the carb body to kkep it in place.

RE: Moki Engines Thread

I have no direct experience with that prop, but my guess it would be withon the engines capabilities.

RE: Moki Engines Thread

Hi Jan, like all Mokis, the 1.35 is a real stump puller. I have used an APC 18x8 with good results. If I may, I would recommend you up the oil content to at least 18% (with 2-3% being castor oil),...

RE: Larger Revolver

Ahicks, yeah I went thru the same thought process, and decided the alu was simpler & neater than pealing the covering and glassing it.

Thanks for the kind words Lopflyers, I enjoy doing planes...

RE: Larger Revolver

Hi folks, I recently finished a 70" Revolver for a fellow club member who also wanted a DLE 20 installed. Since I got several ideas for mods from this thread, I thot I'd give back and post some pics:...

RE: Need an R.C. pilot

Contact your local RC club and ask for the chief flight instructor. These guys typically fly anything, are used to dealing with the unexpected and can help you preflight the plane.

Pilot 28% Decathlon

I just got a 2nd hand OS 3.0 Gemini twin and was looking for a suitable plane for it. Anyone have comments/experience with the Pilot 28% Decatlon?

RE: Which servos for Sig Something Extra

Todd, the SM is a great airplane, you'll love it. The servos you list will be fine for it, since the control surfaces are not huge. BTW, a 1000 mah battery would be enough for about 8 flights if you...

RE: 1/3 BUSA Super Cub Build

Ron, thanks for the quick reply. If I read the pics correctly, the thrust line is 5.75" up from the bottom of the firewall. Much appreciated!

RE: 1/3 BUSA Super Cub Build

Ron, great work on your build so far. I really like the idea of installing wing tubes. The thot of only the struts holding on the wing makes me nervous.

I wonder if you could help with some...

Thanks, I don't keep detailed records of the amount of hours involved, but I know it took me 7 weeks working a couple of hours each day, I guess.

RE: Moki 210 Performance

Buck, I get around 7300 rpm with an APC narrow blade prop using 5% nitro, and OS F plug. When using a BCM pitts muffler, I always plug one of the pipes. Never had to use large fuel tubbing or a pump...

RE: Unionville 6' Otter

We'll be using standard stuff for the servos: Hitec 322HD all around. I'm guessing the plane will come out around 6 lbs, so for its intended mission, standard servos should hopefully suffice.

Chris, I second the opinion that these are builder's kits. It helps to have some experience scratch building to get one of these done. The wood quality was very good on the 6' Otter I'm building for...

RE: CG Bucker Jungman

Nice, clean build. It's a great flying airplane, pity they aren't more around. Mine's 8 yrs old now and was entirely refurbished in 2009. Current engine is OS 120 AX which powers it very well....
