RE: EXTRA 330S WITH GAS ENGINE!!!

Weight would be the main concern. If you have to add a bunch of weight to the tail to get the CG right, then it's possible that it will change the flying characteristics of the plane. You might be...

RE: Over reamed Prop

Bud ... the way your luck is runnin' just go ahead and rig it ... there's a 75% chance it's just gonna break before you get to fly it (judging from the history) and a 24.5% chance it's going to rain...

OS 4G Carb

I have a family heirloom in the shape of a .46FX that's in need of another carb. From what OS is leading me to believe, the 4B has been discontinued. It's successor, the .46AX had a 4G carb, and no...

RE: HOVERING RATIO???

A thrust calculator will tell you what ammount of thrust your prop is pulling at a given RPm. As for hovering, it's pretty self explanitory. If yopu have a 10 pound plane, you will need at least 11...

RE: need help please !

It isn't supposed to have ailerons. It's just a 3 channel (elevator, throttle and rudder). You got the one advertised on the page. I see it comes with a 4 channel radio. You may be able to add...

RE: Hangar 9 Tribute 36 + YS63 FZS ??

If you have that much pressure in your fuel tank, then something's wrong. Pressure in the fuel tank should only be slightly more than the atmospheric pressure outside the tank. This goes for any glow...

RE: Can I safely use a spinner nut on a 4 stroke with a jam nut

I've never had any problems. Another solution is to replace the jamb nuts with a nylon lock nut. Whatever you do, do NOT put a lock washer between the nuts. The only thing that's going to do is gald...

RE: Optional flaps

Flaps aren't just for landing. I like 'em on takeoffs as well... Especially with an 8 or 10 pitch prop and a short runway.

RE: How many Frenzy 100's out there????

I had one. Flew it for about a month or so ... wasn't really impressed with it. All the right thrust and offset along with the dihedral wing kinda spoiled it for me. You could take out the right...

RE: 4 stroke rpms????

I ran a 15X4W and a 14X6 and had decent results. A 14X8 shouldn't have loaded the engine down that much. I was getting 9000 with a 15X8. It would probably handle a 16X4W or a 15X6 and keep the RPMs...

There's all the plane you'll need. It flies great with a .91 4 stroke, light, slow when you want it to be, easy to learn hovers and HAKE....

RE: O.S. 91SX-H C-Spec PS

First, the manual is a starting point. Different elevation, climate and fuel will be the ultimate determining factors to the mixture needle setting. The manual is just a starting point. There is no...

RE: BEGGINER'S MUSTANG QUESTION

The ESC and receiver are integrated onto one board. You could order another transmitter from Parkzone, or install a whole new ESC receiver and transmitter.

RE: Flaps/flaperons down question

Actually, that would depend on your CG. If the CG is back far enough you'll need down elevator. If the CG is a little more forward, you'll need up elevator to keep it level. Usually, on a new plane,...

RE: OS 120ax Pitts muffler

RE: FL-70 loss of power

An FL-70 doesn't have a ring. It has an ABC / ABN style cylinder and piston.Check your valves first, but running cool power and you got it hot, I would be more inclined to think you've scored the top...

RE: OS 120ax Pitts muffler

What's it in Jetmech?
I can run it in my chipmunk without a muffler if I just take off, fly around for a little bit and land. If I try to do anything more than a roll it starves out.
