The O.S. would be my pick, simply because I've had several, all good engines. I'm looking into a Sirio, a team mate has one, loves it, and it's very fast. I've also been looking into the new O.S....

RE: Which Car

R40, TC3 Plus, and since you're familiar with RC cars, you should be able to jump right into any touring kit. Pick one with good local parts support/availability.

RE: Super Goo is like 1-way diff in R40?

How do I "tune" it? Do I remove some goo for more action, or add a different lube? The instructions say to fill it. Not willing to experiment before I drive it, I did exactly as the instructions...

Super Goo is like 1-way diff in R40?

I've recently upgraded from an old Racer 2, to a new R40. During assembly, the instructions call upon this gear lube for the front diff. It's so thick I could hardly believe it was a lubricant. ...

RE: NEW BODY

Are you refreing to the "Lola" style bodies? Do a search on www.towerhobbies.com , they have a few of them. I plan to go with one of those so I can lower my engine temps, while maintaining good...

RE: Shaft or belt?

Shaft or belt, they both have advantages. But if you're looking at those two cars, I'd suggest you go with the R40. Why not get a car with more potential...

Well, I figured it out. The engine ATE the plug! I've seen glow plugs bent, chewed, burned out, ect... But I've never seen the element completely removed. I had checked the plug 2 or 3 times, but...

Ass. 12 engine fun...

A friend of mine bought an RTR TC3 about a year ago. It ran great right out of the box. Well, he drove it maybe 10 times before he stored it. Not sure if he used after-run oil, the answer to that is...

RE: How do you stop your engine??

Hit brakes, it idles very low, then touch the flywheel with your finger. It doesn't hurt, the torque it's producing at sub 3k rpms is minimal. At first I was afraid to touch it, so I used a stick...
