RE: Starting a Turbax I w/K&B 7.5

I never had a turbax but I have a Dynamax and I don't prime it to start. I just unplug the airpressure line from the pito and blow a little air in it to let the fuel go to the carb and that's it.

RE: Dremel

I have two Dremels and I use them to cut piano wire, grind some piece of wood and do many things with them.

In fact, beside cutting piano wire, I think you can go without one but once you get...

RE: Nylon gear servos and single 50cc engine

I've been running gas engines for 3 Years now and had no servo failure.

I'm running regular servos (Fut. 3004 or alike) with ball bearing everywhere except on the rudder where I put a high...

RE: What is this airplane?

Thank you very much, it's in the neighborhood.

It takes a guy from Ct. to tell me to go to a neighbor I live about 10 miles from their place.

RE: What is this airplane?

It's kind of you to call for the name, I don't have the canopy but if I don't find it I will mold one or fabricate one.

For the moment, I don't want to sell it but if I decide not to build it, I...

RE: What is this airplane?

The fuse is 57 1/2 inches long but without the rudder, so I would need a 87" wing I guess.

I have an Edge 540 which I fly with a Sach 50cc It's a 80" wingspan I guess that with a 87" I would...

RE: What is this airplane?

Thank you guys, it's exactly what I need to know. Now I will look for the wing and stab design and Scott, if you could give me a hint as to what it needs to 3d, I would appreciate.

What is this airplane?

A few years ago a friend gave me this fuselage and I kept it saying someday I will do something with it.

The problem is I don't know what it is and I have no plans of it.

If you recognize...

Is Poulan 42 a good engine?

I just bought a Poulan 42 with CH ign. and I wonder if it's a good engine.
How does it compare to Quadra 42 in power and weight?

I don't have it yet but I'm waiting for it and I wonder if...

RE: 1/2 scale Cap 232

Thanks for the info. I did a search on a Cap 232 1/2 scale but didn't find nothing.
With the 70% Staudacher, it worked all right.

1/2 scale Cap 232

Last year I saw a big Cap 232 which was ready to test fly but I didn't see any reports on it. It had a 700cc engine I think and it was really big.
Did anyone hear of it?

RE: quadra 50

I had a Homelite 30cc on a 72 inches Giles and I replaced it with a Quadra 42. It's ok with it but don't think of 3D. It's a heavy motor and not very powerfull. The 50cc must be a little stronger but...

RE: How low to you run your TX battery

I go rather safe with it. I stop and recharge at 9.3 but a friend of mine goes to 8.8 or when the beeper on his radio tells him it's time to recharge.
