I tried a 9t ezrun system but that just eats gears so i ripped that out and am now experimenting with the 12t motor from my traxxas slash... See what that does...

you might need to (drastically) swap your gearing around due to the new (alot) higher powered motor...

that HPI system is a rebranded mamba max which i hear good things about... I personally use a 35amp/9t ezrun system i got on ebay for 40 bucks or so:) 4300kv on 2s lipo is plenty fast for me......

as for the sound maybe its a gear mesh issue... I have swapped out my spur a few days ago and its making a hell of a racket on my 9t ezrun set up when i go over say 50% throttle and...

depends on your engine i suppose back when i was using my 4300kv ezrun in my e10 i used my 22t stock pinion and later a 25t both worked and both worked well but i dont race or do more thermometer...

I was at the time using an ezrun 4300 kv on a "6s NIMH" pack (team orion 5100) and that thing just devoured spurs, i think alot of it was due to sand getting caught in the teath and me not picking up...

I have tried 25t and 22t both worked well and while i dont have accurate temp readings to hand (was a while ago and i dont own a termo) i believe both were fine... you WILL be needing an ALU...

Well my 9t ezrun on 5100mah 7.2 rocketpack (team orion) stripped the gearing but they were already pretty FUBAR when i put the set in... Think some sand got in there or something that and i ground...

I doubt the frame will hold up mine stripped both its pinion and spur with a 4300 on a 6 cell... but maybe with the alu motor mount... my guess is that it wont work...

If it's larger then a 540 engine i would wager it doesn't fit however with tools and a little time anything can be fit in anywhere... However I haven't tried this...

the shaft from the middle differential to the rear axle? perhapse? or one of the ones from a differential to a wheel?
