RE: SFM Eindecker ARF from Horizon

Sorry I took so long. The Eindecker is a joy to fly---nice and slow---just like a trainer.
The pilot and machine gun are from Williams Brothers.

RE: SFM Eindecker from Horizon

Woody51,
The Elder looks more to scale than the Eindecker. If I were a builder, I would have opted for the kit. The SFM is an ARF, and goes together easily. The engine sits at a 45 angle to...

RE: SFM Eindecker from Horizon

I LOVE the way this plane assembles-SFM apparently did their homework this time.
Landings are a little bouncy. The covering is screen printed sticky-back stuff. No wrinkles on my sample....

No one?
Well, I got one, and it is beautiful! Assembly is easy, and it flies really nicely. Powered with a MDS .40--just right.
The only negative is the vacuum formed pilot and machine gun....

GWS Islander-1st flight

Flew mine for the first time today. Trimmed nicely, flew very well. Did not attempt aerobatics. Cut throttle to check glide, and at about 20 ft. it did a nasty tip stall. Too late to recover. Some...

SFM Eindecker ARF from Horizon

Jerry,
Do you recommend I buy this plane? $110 plus shipping seems like a bargain for a 40 size.
Explain what you mean by "sticky covering"
Thanks
