I put 2mm spacers between the coil and head and it still isn't running quite right.

Also when I took it apart there were no spacers and this was bought new. I can see where the coil dropped on...

I work on petroleum equipment , mostly electronics now. I used to build the stations from the underground tanks to the finished station. Great sense of satisfaction looking at the finished product.

I mean there are spacers on the two bolts holding the coil to the motor.

I don't know if they're metal or insulated and the thickness.

Does anyone know what size the spacers are between the coil and the engine in a SIKK 25.4?

Was told they are the same as on a ZEN but still don't know what the thickness is.

Some one had told me that each battery was about 5 lbs so that was what I was judging the weight from. Guess I was wrong.[sm=red_smile.gif]

That was the one I looked at, just wasn't sure because other people are running 80 - 100 amp ESC's in thier tugs.

I'll be using a 550 brushed motor with 2 6V lead acid batteries. The total weight of the boat is about 16 Lbs.
This is in a tugboat and I will need reverse also.

Any suggestions would be...

I have the same stinger on my easy vee. What i had to do was cut about a 1/2 inch off the end of the ferrule where you insert the cable for soldering and then drill it deeper until it meets...
