RE: World Models or Airborne Models Tucano 60

Thanks Phat

The hatch you mention is probably too small..This model will need 6s for power. I fly a similar sized plane...Angel S... with 6s 4000mAh batteries and they need to go on the CG. ...

FashionLine conversion?

I lost my Impact last week. Engine speed controller and battery appear to be fine and I hope to stay electric. I have an old Fashion Line (set up for a YS 140 L) Any thoughts out there on...

RE: Sebart Angel S Evo 50E

Anybody have any trouble getting the canopy off. I have split the edge trying to release the magnets...and the only way it appears to work is if the front tongue is removed and lifted from the front....

Engine for Tucano

I have just bought second hand a Phoenix Models Tucano (78 inch wingspan) Fibre glass kit, foam wings and tail. I believe that the target weight is 12-14 lbs. Any suggestions for an engine?

RE: Pattern Plane to suit ys 63

Any of the small Mk kits --Synergy, Alliance would be most suitable...a little bit of building but well worth the effort. I had the Alliance, best small pattern model I ever had.

Alliance Canopy wanted

The dreaded "hanger rash" bug struck last week, destroying the canopy of my ZN line Alliance in the process. They are no longer available. I wonder would anyone have one lying around...perhaps from...

RE: 2stroke for pattern plane

OS 140 is a v. good engine, I also have a Webra 145 (blackhead) which is much more fuel efficient. Pipe length is critical on both engines. Both run well on Coolpower 15% nitro.

Personally I...

RE: 140 rx fuel

15% Cool Power with a 17x10 APC gives me good results. 53 flights so far on original bearing and no problems.

I am running a webra 145, but am thinking of investing in the MC carb. I believe that there is a web-site which shows the setup in picture form. Would anyone know of it?

Is there a positive...

RE: OS 140 Plumbing Question

I think you may be filling the carb as you try to fill the tank. I used to use a Dubro valve system, but it began to leak air. I now bring the tank-fill/carb line outside the fuz, split with a...

RE: ZN Alliance engine query

RE: M.K. TOP STAR 2

RE: Hanno Prettner

Put it into an RC City Jeckyll (smaller 67" version.) This was the best combination I ever flew until an in-flight battery failure brought it to a sad end.
