Where did Pilot2PilotHobbies go?

I ordered many kits from pilot 2 pilot hobbies, but now I need to replace my Slow Stick and cannot find them. Any clues? Thanks Aaron

RE: Slow Stik banking left..

Good idea on the taped tray. Might have to try that. My Stick has gone with gravity more than once.....

RE: Whats going to be your next favorite park or backyard flyer?

Liked the T-hawk. Transferred the electronics into a Slow Stick. Everything went in really easily. Once I get all the bugs worked out (build errors) it should be a formidable machine.

RE: Slow Stik banking left..

Hey, don't forget to hard mount the servo tray. Mine slid causing a hard left bank and climb that was all but unrecoverable. One drilled hole and one small screw kept it in place. I was totally...

RE: No motor control. Aerobird Extreme

I agree with Matt and sympathize with the tree situation. I was 30 some feet in a tree when the landowner asked me what I was doing. I told her I was bird hunting. She (sans humour) finally...

RE: NEED HELP!!! Newbie First flight Slow Stick CRASHED

Did the exact same thing. This plane is a lot different thant the t-hawk I learned on. Happened twice now, bought props both times. Hard to forget old habits!

RE: First time flyer looking for an inexpensive plane

I purchased the T-hawk. It is amazingly tough and even tougher with a few well positioned pieces of tape. 30+ crashes in 60 plus flights and I am finally running out of parts. I am going to...

RE: All in one kit

The T-hawk was a good trainer, if a bit fast. The "toy" radio delivered with my T-hawk RTF has a range greater than my eyesight, so I suppose it is pretty good. I will be transferring my T-hawk...

RE: Simulatoe advice

You can also download models of the plane you intend to buy if you look around some. I found mutiple models of the Slow stick and even a few t-Hawks for the FMS simulator

RE: slo-v or t-hawk

My T-hawk has survived around 50 crashes, some hard, some not so hard. Body getting a little rough. I am planning on gettting a Slowstick to transfer my electronic gear into. I will rebuild the...

RE: Beginner with T-Hawk questions.

I will try your method of suporting the motor. Sounds a lot less intrusive than mine. I also noticed that the fuselage has to flex out for the prop to touch the body during crashes. A Zip tie...

RE: B-17

Remember, the 388th was the only major bomb group not to use any unit identification markings in combat. (Not that I would hint at a theme or anything....) :D

RE: B-17

Cool, post pics. After you crash it you can name it :"Homesick Angel" like the one my Grandfather crashed on approach after the shuttle raids. Better still you can dissassemble it and name it...

RE: How are motors measured - i.e., what is a "Speed 400"

I am interested in finding information on how to determine how much amperage a combo is going to draw. Before I build, or after? IE 12x8 prop Speed 400 with a 4:1 gearbox? Anyone?

RE: PARKZONE SLO-V?

I enjoy the FMS simulator (free download). It has helped me with my control orientation.

RE: Beginner with T-Hawk questions.

I checked out your theory that the prop affects the tail control surfaces. If you run the motor while holding the plane in hand, you will notice that it will rotate in whichever direction you turn...

RE: newb ????s

First, download FMS simulator, fly the heck out of it, then buy a slow model. If not, you will just irritate yourself and spend money that did not need spent. I did it backwards and am paying for...

RE: Beginner with T-Hawk questions.

It's good that you figured out how to launch. Mine launches with a straight and level throw. If I try to throw it up, it loses speed/lift and falls. Half the time I could recover it, but since I...

RE: Beginner with T-Hawk questions.

Lotta questions, but I am in the same boat. Yeah, the T-hawk is a handful. Too much for a beginner, I feel. I am buying a Slow Stick to try to fly something a little slower. However, you talk...

RE: Tower Hobbies Slow Stick?

I have not found anyone else offering the 400/12 in prop option. I will likely go with someone else. Better do something soon, the T-hawk's band-aids are getting out of hand.

Tower Hobbies Slow Stick?

I went to my ole favorite (Tower Hobbies) and found that they did not have the Slow Stick in stock. Both the 300 and 400 powered models will not be in til mid August. Anyone care to venture a guess...
