RE: Sig Liberty Sport Building Manual???

If no one has one ready to transmit, I'll put mine in the ol' scanner and zip it up for you... While I'm scanning I'll toss in the 3-view that I have (came with the kit)

Stay tooned....

RE: iPhone application ideas

Larry, while I appreciate your candor, I'd really like to gather some more ideas that others will want in an application that haven't been mentioned yet... There are lots of folks who do carry the...

iPhone application ideas

I'm working on some iPhone applications, and I'd like to get some ideas/feedback from the RC world on what you would all like to see in an iPhone application.

I've got the basic wing loading...

RE: Remember the hots? ARF COMING!

I think the Ultra Hots (80") was the best size/handling combo to be had. I've had all them, from the profile on up, and that was my favorite. Docile as could be, kick the high rates and let 'er rip!...

RE: Piper Cub J3 1/4 - SIG or Balsa USA

I've had both, and currently have two Sig Cubs. I find that the Sig version is easier to assemble at the field than the BUSA version. Bot h fly well. Mine main one has a Zenoah G23 and removable...

RE: For all J-3 Cub Lovers

Keep me on your list when you release the goodies on this cub. Great work!

BTW, your shop is WAY too clean... Or, more to the point, mine isn't clean enough!

Attaching cabanes on GP Skybolt?

How in the world am I supposed to get those 4-40 screws down the tiny holes, with no guide tube, and secure the cabanes inside the fuselage, especially the front ones, since I can't see up in there?...

Better, H9 P40 or Hellcat?

I would like some honest opinions from someone(s) who's seen and flown both. I'm looking at one or the other. Both look just as good to me, and I like the history of both types of aircraft. Looking...

RE: Bomberfield

Shucks, hlf of Texas, and neigboring states will be there. It's a huge event. Like 200+ planes and pilots. All big birds, all scale.

Of course I'll be there... :)

Sure starts at my LHS

My local shop has some new Sure Starts in the counter for $7.00 each. Should I go ahead and snap them up? Are they that hard to find?

Thanks!

RE: Perfection Kit Completed

These are the BEST flying planes. I've had several myself, and am finishing up yet another kit. We've flown these things with everything from a .46 up to 1.4 gassers. You can have one in the air in...

RE: Whatever happened to the kits?

The mass manufactured kit is going away. It's just part of the business of being global. As long as they have near-slaves willing to work, it'll be cheaper and more effective to get ARF's.

What...

RE: New aircraft to try for the world speed record...

Yep, that's a zippy zippy, alright.... I wonder, at those speeds, will the wing skin tempurature stay down enough to cool the engines?

What got my attention, however, is the ad for the MX2 down...

RE: Sig Liberty Sport Building Manual???

Definitely put the N struts on the wing, but I didn't need flying wires, with the monokote one, or the cloth covered one I had. I never really 'wing tested' the planes too badly, but I did all the...

RE: Sig Liberty Sport Building Manual???

Many parts are cut out already. I guess the main 'challenge' is that the fuselage is mostly 'sticks' and there's a fair amount of work there. The wings have a lot of ribs in them (already cut out),...

RE: Don't you get tired of the criticism?

There ain't a better flying 1/2A plane out there than a SST. I used to turn them into shoulder mount wings and fly all day. Buttery smooth!
