RE: extreame flight edge540t 88

I'd have to say IMO its the best flying 50-60 cc plane I have ever flown. Set your CG @ ~ 5.5" For an excellent mix of 3D and Sport flying. Move the CG back to 6" and you'll have a totally neutral...

RE: Extreme Flight 87

I've put a lot of time on both and I prefer the 88". The 87" is a cool plane though. One of my friends still has one of the 87's. It still doesn't take a back seat in performance to current...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

I'm running a 4" tru-turn ultimate spinner too. It looks great. The edge comes with 3.75" wheels.

I've got probably about 8-10 gallons through my Edge now. I'm liking it more and more. It is an absolute treat to fly.

Here is a video from last weekend with some footage of my Edge in it.

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

I'm thinking I ran mine around 6 3/4". I'm bad about not measuring them. I usually just fly and adjust them until I get the best feel. I like the extra CG set where it will gently descend on a...

RE: Best 50cc plane for 3D?

This is an older thread. A lot of new planes have come out since this thread. If you are looking for the best 3Ding 50cc plane made, get one of the new extremeflight 88" EDGE 540T's. ...

What radio are you using? What do you have the trim steps set to?

Do you have a picture of the elevators with the radio powered on? 5mm wouldn't be much more than the...

RE: Extreme Flight 110

Stephane,

What problem are you referring to? My 110" and 88" Yak have a little up trim. I wouldn't call it a problem both of them track very straight.

RE: Extreme Flight 88

That works great for LiPo's, LiFe's, and A123's. Due to the way Nimh's charge that way doesn't work well for them.

RE: Desert Aircraft DA 60

You can use the same pipes. You'll just need a different Header.

RE: Extreme Flight 88

Dave,

Here is the best way to figure out MAH usage with Nimh's.

- Discharge the battery down. I always discharged them to 1 volt per cell. So 5V for a 6V 5 cell pack.
- Charge the pack...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

There is no question about adding together capacity's when you hook up redundant packs. If you hook up 2 packs, The MAH's of the two batteries are added together. Like Richard noted the...
