RE: Some old 1/4 scale sprint car footage

To bad that video ended as soon as the cars were starting to rip.

Yeah, I had a few Quick Draw Sprinters back in the day. Late 80's Early 90's. I wish the club didn't fiz out. With all the...

RE: Jet Ranger body for Blade CX

Hi, I also just ordered a Jet Ranger body for my CX2 and am very interested in 22c batts. Any idea on where to get them online? A linky would help. I bought my Cx2 the other day and it's still in...

RE: Vertigo Clutch bell carriers @ modifiers covers

I raced 1/4 scales for 10+ years. All my cars had enclosed clutches. Never had any issues.

Any...

RE: Any large scale sprint cars?

The only car I "may" sell is the RACO in the last PIC. Still thinking though.

Texas made? WCM back then in 1988.

RE: 1/4 scale dragster

You just missed one on ebay. The auction is over, I'm not sure if it sold or not, but I deleted it from my watch list, so I can't find it now. Just search ebay every few days for: 1/4 scale car ...

RE: anyone with 1/4 scale info

YES, I agree 100%. I was going to say the same thing. PLUS, airplane engines are known for low RPMs. I'd look for a modded Zenoah at DDM if you want some real speed and HP.

RE: Any large scale sprint cars?

LOL, yeah, but the 1/4 scales are more fun, and a lot faster.

RE: Any large scale sprint cars?

Yes, Club fizzed out about 12 years ago. No more 1/4 racing anywhere close to me. I was into it heavily too. At one time, I had 8 cars, enclosed trailer with complete shop, power, air, and a motor...

RE: Any large scale sprint cars?

Also, Don't rule out the WCM car. Back when I was racing, I didn't like them due to the chassis not being 4130 chrome moly steel tubing. They were softer steel, and would bend very easy. Other than...

RE: Any large scale sprint cars?

Here is a site from Astrailia on 1/4 dirt sprinters. It's very big over there. Dirt Sprints
Look around at the Galley, and Videos. A lot of eye candy over there.

Tires,
Go here: QSAC.

RE: Any large scale sprint cars?

Yeah, just a little. Wheel base is a few inches longer on the Baja. I think real off road race buggies are longer than OutLaw sprint cars are. Anyway, here is a better PIC to compare the RC's.

RE: Fuel line?

What ever you get, just make sure it's for gasoline, and NOT nitro fuel. A tube made for NITRO will NOT work for gas. The nitro tubes melt, and shrink. The plastic is different for both. Your best...

RE: Largest available motors for 1/5 scale

I've heard many times that the plane engines do not have the higher RPMs like the car engines, but I could be wrong. I don't know for sure.

RE: HPI Baja 5B Runtime

Don't get the V2 as it will bend. The V3 does NOT hit or bend. It also has a little more perfomance than the V2. I love the pipe. Very crisp, and a LOT faster on the top.
