Looking for flexible mufflers. The nut size is 10mm .
just bot a plane thats been hanging from the ceiling of lhs. Has the engine but missing mufflers. The engine was never run:)

I used a modified Robart dual strut. I will look up pics. in order to stabilize it inside the formed gear enclosure i used expanding foam inside it. Looks like it is sturdy but time will tell.

I decided to go the hard way and build my GeeBeeR3 from plans I picked up on ebay.... never again will I build a short kit. ARF is the way to go or a kit.

You should try balancing the plane with the fuel tank empty.
The 25-30% figures I gave u are a good starting point... Don't get hung up on the slight differences u mention.

The c.g. on most straight wing planes is in the 25-30% of the wing cord measured from the leading edge. You will find the main spar within that range.
it is advisable to have the fuel tank at c.g....

I also have the Seagull Spit.
Replaced the servo-less retracts with E Flite electrics. A perfect match.

Make sure you tweak the flaps with elevators for a perfect landing.
