i just used the two pieces of 1/4 inch ply and epoxied them to the bottom. before i epoxied them i cut a channel for the cord. not i can just screw it into place and remove it as needed.

that is an awesome story. i have a little experience on the snow with my old BSB, i never got it up to speed because i didnt wan to break it.

at the end of the video on the water the motor quits from the batteries hitting thermal overload. i thought they were gonna blow up but they didnt....

sounds like a good trainer to me. old motors can be a bear for sure. ive got an old OS from the 80's that is loosing compression, but still runs.

well here are the rudders i have on there now. the should do the trick. the math works out out to just under twice the size. maybe i can get some video up this weekend!

ot some new pics of the progress. 3 hour epoxy is drying right now. almost all the sanding is done.
motor has been mounted (not not on the bottom)
one more coat of epoxy on the outside...

ive been debating the same on my BSB. i only need one servo for the rudders, but if i ever go nitro i will need another servo and linkage installed.

i finally got the sponson bottoms glued on...

well took a lot morepics today during the building process. the hole thing, even test fit many times with lots of sanding, is all gaps and slots. so the epoxy needs micro balloons. its a good thing...

that is most definitely NOT a BSB. the engine mount is not the same. the hull is completely different. the rudders are completely different. Looks like one of these to me.
