If u run a battery of any kind to power the rx and servo u will need to remove the red wire from the ESC plug or just run a voltage booster.. it works for me..

F1 cars are not really good for bashing.. just for racing.. bit of a handful to get around a track the 1st time.. I got a F109/104... its really all about driving in F1 and getting rear tire grip.....

Put all the trims on your radio to Zero.. not sure the model RX you have but its sounding like it has a built in fail safe if its going full throttle when the radio is off.. and it needs to be reset...

Its fine.. if you are using a lipo the max charge it can handle if its a 2 cell is 8.4 volts if its goes over then you are in trouble it will stay at 8.4 volts for ages until its fully charged........

Its ok that you forgot ;).. there is a number of TA05 with the Exotek conversion.. ha ha..it does make the car more competitive and way better to use with Lipos.. but to say its as good as say a Xray...
