A 6 meter glider u can see without any problems at 3000+ feet with a wing cord of 20 inches on the root there is plenty of surface to still see the glider even without binoculars.

The highest I ever been was 3200 feet with a DG505 (6m). On a beatiful summer day.

The stating altitude was 100 feet above sea level but the vario was set to zero so it was a real 3200...

I 100% agree with TFLG. Stay far away from any fox until u can fly gliders properly.

The fox is a high performance acrobatic glider and wont forgive u any mistake.
