RE: VectorFlight 300s, anygood?

Scott, Thanks for the info. Just received it yesterday and I have say I'm impressed. It's certainly one of the better constructed ARFs I've seen. Instructions are weak....and would be hard for a...

All would be great when I get it. I ordered the Extra 58" and a couple of weeks ago I emailed them asking when it would ship. Sure enough, I get a quick reply saying due to the sale, it will be...

RE: HPI ball cups didn't fit

Two clunks it is. Do you think I'll run into any problems having the overflow running through the exhaust? Or should I "T" with a check valve? Thanks Richard.

RE: HPI ball cups didn't fit

Only applicable on a YS four stroke. If you "T" into the carb line for fueling/defueling, you will risk flooding your engine if it's not a YS. On other four strokes, run three lines out of the...

RE: HPI ball cups didn't fit

What is best? Should I run two or three lines out of the tank. Was thinking of running two lines. One, exhaust to the vent and let the over flow run out the exhaust. And the other, clunk to carb...

This thread is long and sorry if it's already been answered. I have an OS 61 FX and seriously looking to buy the 58". Wondering if I use this engine, will be under powered? If so, does anyone have...

RE: Hangar 9 60 size corsair arf

Per CJ, you should JB weld the lower strut collar. Has anyone using their retracts done this? I will file flat spots were needed, but wasn't sure on the JB weld.

RE: CJ Retracts

Thanks for the advice. Since I did have to cut away a little for the CJ retract to fit, I'll reinforce. Given I'm running a Saito 100 and taking a few extra steps that I would with any ARF, i.e....

RE: CJ Retracts

Just started building. I did have to remove some wood to install the CJ retracts, but plan on reinforcing that area. I did talk with Horizon and the only recommendation they made was to reinforce...

RE: RE:prop detail

Very clean! Definitely like that you only need one line to and from the fus to the wing. Last night I did go back through the thread and found where Richard L. on page 17 posted some nice pictures...

RE: RE:prop detail

Thanks Steve / Richard for the help. (CJ retracts) Looks like I'll be running two lines from the fus to the wing and using quick connects. Would like to see the valve and the servo in the center...

RE: RE:prop detail

Would have to go with four tees. Since it's designed for separate lines "four", would I have a pressure problem?

RE: RE:prop detail

Thanks Steve for your help. I agree, install in the fus looks cleaner and more practical. If I do that, it looks like I'll need four quick connects. I'm just trying to limit the number of lines...
