i think there is a threaded metal insert in the knuckles, just like the t bolt setup on the 1/8 scale.

not sure what plug you have but turbo plugs dont use a washer. i had the same problem with mine, the
inserts dont fit. i used the red arms that came with the servos, i think they will hold up...

you can also get the sh engines from hobby people. jersey im getting around 8 min or so on a tank.

jersey im running the sh12 pro. so far im impressed with the motor. it is close to a gallon in and its running
strong for a cheaper motor. so far no complaints with this little rocket!;)
