I had the old EF 87" Yak and the new 88 is a very different machine with a much bigger flight envelope. I have not had enough air time on the Extra at this time to give a detailed breakdown of the...

Blimey, 6900 and it is already that ballistic i am suprised by that. Mejzlik 23x8 and the ES pipe should get you another 200 RPM once its run in, that is going to be insane.

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

Just to add. Young Tom managed to pull 4th place in the Unlimited class of this years UK Freestyle Championships. First ever competition and with a plane he had only flown 10-12 times, I think that...

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

That looks superb, i think they look better with the slightly larger spinner too and in fact most are running 4.5" over here but looking at that picture ireckon you could go right up to 5.5".

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

I couldn't agree more, I would never fly this thing or antything of this size with plastic gears. You will lose your model no matter what type of flying you do IMO.

Not sure if the denominations...

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

Near enough everyone here in the UK and Europe is using 5945's or the new 5985's on everything but the rudder. Tg's are great to have but they really aren't necessary anywhere else.

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

I tend to find that most of the vibration comes from the Cowl vibrating on the front of the Canopy. Even if you hold it you see a big difference. By placing some tape at the leading edge of the...

RE: WHAT 50CC YAK 54?

RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

RE: EXTREME FLIGHT RC 88 inch YAK-54/Brillelli 366GT Build thread

It does sound good though, much softer then a metal pipe. I am really keen to see how it will go on the DA, it should have quite a bit more grunt then my old setup in the 87", well certinaly if what...

RE: EXTREME FLIGHT RC 88 inch YAK-54/Brillelli 366GT Build thread
