RE: Evolution 58gx2

Both my 50 and 58 are happy on 2 cell lipo unregulated. I too tried raising the lever a little, with no effect, it wasn't until I raised it what seemed like way too much, flush with the body, that...

RE: Evolution 58gx2

Sadly, Pe will not be answering your questions as he passed on in his workshop a few days ago.
He has been a huge asset to the modeling community, and his wit and wisdom will be sorely missed.

RE: Brillelli 46cc

The Hub threads on the shaft, quite possible that it slipped.
Parts are available (and cheap) on line for poulan 46 pro.
Still abusing mine after all these years.
Good luck.

RE: Goldberg Edge 540

I had one with the Brillelli 46 in it and single 5955s in the ailerons. plenty of power and lots of fun, just not as floaty as some of the newer, lighter designs.

RE: Extreme flight 78" or Gp 1.60?

My 2 cents....
With the 40f3a the EF plane will be under 12.5 lbs @ 1200sq.in. I doubt you can get under 14lbs with the GP Sukhoi @ 1155sq.in., but I may be wrong. Seems like in this hobby you get...

RE: Extreme 88

I dont know the exact chronology of the changes, but all the ExtremeFlight planes I've had are numbered from the factory with matching numbers... my guess is you will have parts of different planes...

RE: Extreme 88

There were two (or more) different stab/fuse designs as time went by. I found this out when ordering replacement parts. I just drilled new holes and used a wood screw with no ill effect. Make sure...

RE: 7955 with a Y-Harness?

I absolutely agree with you about wanting all the throw and power I can get when setting up a plane. It's a nice option to be able to back off the throws as needed. I notice a lot of guys are going...

RE: 7955 with a Y-Harness?

In Theory, it is a problem, in practice, I'm running 7955s on Ys on my 110 with no ill effects. In fact, I backed off my aileron throws because they were too much. I do use two channels for the...

RE: Extreme Flight 110

That lag is called latency, hard for me to get how signals that move at the speed of light can be so slow... my 9c does it too. It is all but eliminated in the 2.4 transmitters, from what I'm told,...

RE: Brillelli 46gt

Probably 5 gallons for break-in, being real gentle. if you dont mind wiping down the plane at the end of the day, it will run cooler and last longer at 40/1 mix. I have seen pics around here...

RE: Brillelli 46gt

100/1 is too lean for our engines, I believe. My 46 likes 40/1. I used Amsoil for a while, now I dont. YMMV. Thor.

RE: Skywriter smoke pump question

Yes. I use an old 350mah 2cell foamie lipo for the pump and 2 unregulated 2100 2cells for the rx. THE 2100 PACKS ARE NOT ENOUGH! I have 8 7955s in a 110" Yak. Initially I was using 400-500 mah...

What is the distance from the fire wall to the back of the spinner plate? I have a RCS 90 single and it has the carburator in the rear......looking for a plane it would fit! Thanks, Henry

RE: Extreme Flight 110

Sorry about your mishap, Barry. I'm using the PSP axles w/ a circlip AND a collar. Just a little anal. Did you check your stab incidence? The extra clicks of up might relate to that, if your cg...

RE: 100cc Yaks

They make top quality planes and their customer service is second to none! Not saying that there aren't other fine plane manufacturers out there, but I have yet to be dissapointed by EF, and I have...

RE: Extreme Flight 110

Barry, I think you'll find 42 degrees to be enough on the ailerons. I ended up moving my elevator linkages to the inner hole with no ill effects, or you could use 2" arms. If the 7950 isnt enough...

RE: Extreme Flight 110

I took mine to the feild in Mamas' Ford Escape today. It would fit even with a spinner. Tailwheel drops over edge of front seat, wheel drops into hole for rear seat back. Locked in. Stabs off, of...

9303 turned on in sun

Left my 2.4 9303 in the hot sun for an hour at the fun fly today. Came back to find it turned on with the switch OFF. I usually leave the tx under a wing on hot days, but not this time. ...

RE: Dual Lipo problem

If you can adjust the regs within .01 volt of each other, it wont be a problem. Otherwise use a batt share or something along those lines. I use a wolverine switch and they draw down equally. Do...

RE: HELP!! Choice of 100cc airplane for precision and 3D

I have the EF 110 Yak w/ smoke, and can honestly say the plane doesn't notice the extra weight. I'm using a 922 rx w/ y harnesses on ailerons. All the brands listed have their merits, the question...

RE: Extreme Flight 110

The smoke definitely looks cool. I thought the extra weight forward would be noticeable, but she flies great with it. The only place it shows is punching out of hover. The mess, however, in a...
