RE: Fliton Extra 330 Freestyle Who's Got One?

Not trying to troll your post but:

saito 82 is just a tiny bit more powerful than ys63 and if I'm not mistaken they are pretty much the same weight. Depending by your flying style you might find...

RE: FLITON EDGE 540 FREESTYLE they did it again

Glad to see this thread is still alive. Just ordered my second edge; first one exploded in the air on a 3d rates snap roll more than a year ago. Had 2 extra as well but as much I want to totally get...

RE: Peak Edge540 76" + Peak 45cc arrived

It needs 2 and you should install the best servos you can afford. You could probably use a bellcrank but I would not go that route.

RE: Giles 202

Mike, I'm aware of the threads. I had a plane from the first batch and always suspected it was built on a monday. There were some people happy with the Saito 180. On mine, with the wing all the way...

RE: Giles 202

Hi Tolias,

I had the Giles with checkers. It was made by Ultra Rc. It was pretty light but it flew like a dog. Spent 3 weeks trying to mix out bad tendencies and finally gave up. It's got a lot...

RE: Peak Edge540 76" + Peak 45cc arrived

I have an Edge with a Brillelli 46cc in the nose. I really like the combination. I had a CF landing gear and wing tube ( the ones included were quite heavy ) and on my postal scale it shows 12lb 00oz...

Hi Flyer Freq,

I have 50 flights on it and still making small mix adjustments. Had no issues at all with the plane, did not spent 1 minute fixing anything since the first flight. My setup is on...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Hi D,

It seems anyone who leaves the Basin it's cursed by the ***** Goddess and misses the place. I'm in Chicago, have a nice field to fly, pretty deserted if you compare it with the Basin but...

RE: Ultra R/C Giles 202 UL 29%

On mine, besides the firewall, I reinforced the top of the fuse behind the engine box. All the fuse strength is on the bottom, and the top side was flexing too much.
I retired my airframe and...

For Jets, I always thought an add like this would sum it better:

RE: FLITON EDGE 540 FREESTYLE they did it again

Casey,

It seems you infected my plane as well. After something like 250 flights my Edge is history. I always said it had 9 lives but it seems I lost 4 on the way.
It crashed after 10 sec of...

RE: PAU/BME 87" Extra 330L - Build and Fly

Ken,

The kitty looks extremely fat on that aperture. She has to go to a diet first. :)
I wanted to ask you if you had any problems running the servo wires so close to antenna.

RE: PAU/BME 87" Extra 330L - Build and Fly

I Don't have redundant batteries on Rx. Just a 2600 LiPo for it and a 1400 MeHi for ignition. The kill switch is with a relay and until now it's working OK in another plane. The only problem with it...

RE: Ultra R/C Giles 202 UL 29%

I put a Xoar 21x8 for breaking in. Don't ask about RPM 'cause the weather sucks and I didn't had a chance to fly it again.
