RE: Fliton Extra 330 Freestyle Who's Got One?

Yep, that is why I have it set so lean on the low end. Set up inverted and set lean, there is still a noticeable drop in RPM when glow is removed. As long as I don’t go full...

RE: Fliton Extra 330 Freestyle Who's Got One?

I have mine mounted inverted and have the low end as lean as possible. The down side to this is that on waterfalls I have had the motor quit with rapid increase & decrease in throttle.

RE: Pro pilot?

Do you fly IMAC? I don’t know of any top pilots (sponsored) that have not come thru and excelled in the IMAC ranks?

RE: Fliton Extra 330 Freestyle Who's Got One?

My SA100/FL330 does not vibrate that bad. It does idle down nicely. I run 5-15%nitro. I am comparing it to YS110 on 68 yak. I like the smoothness of the two strokes (OS32,55,91,120,160).

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

I picked up a used twist with a .91FX. It weighs in at 5.5 pounds. I am impressed and think I can get it at to 5.25 with some modifications. I am looking forward to some crazy fun![8D]

RE: Making turns during rolling harrier

AFPD sim speed adjustable from 30-200% on the fly with drop down menu.
Also, I like to add weight to planes. I think it makes the 40% sim planes fly more like 25% planes. With the addition of a...

RE: Making turns during rolling harrier

Congrats!! I think I know exactly what you mean.

One thing I have done to improve my flying is to slow down the sim very slow to nail down the timing. Eventually I can turn the speed up very...

RE: If you could have only one 3D plane which?

Anyone in my area have a used 67” Fusion they want to let go of? Ok, I would take the 65” Yak also. [sm=lol.gif]
It would get an OS 1.08 or an AX120

RE: Making turns during rolling harrier

My directional control is based on the rudder input in timing to the rotation, something developed on the simulator and foamy. To turn one way, I input rudder sooner to turn the other way I input...

RE: prop for U Can Do 3D .60, os 91 fx

Here is the ultra thrust I am using: http://www.pspec.com/results.asp?category=8 It is the sport muffler & not the racing. I also have a 3/4" spacer & that may help with the lower RPM tune.

RE: prop for U Can Do 3D .60, os 91 fx

At one time had a 10 pound plane (GPSpacewalker) with a OS.91FX that I wanted to learn to hover with. I tried a lot of different props listening to advice from local experts and could not find...

RE: os.91fx (RINGED) what prop?

My testing has shown the best prop on a .91FX for ultimate thrust is APC 15x6 (should turn around 10,500, if I remember right, and pull about 12 pounds). A little less thrust but instant spool is SK...

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!

If I remember correctly, these specs are with a tuned pipe. I think the E26cc gas w/tuned pipe does about the same as the OS1.6 on 5%nitro without tuned pipe.

RE: Thrust needed for 3D

Is this a real measured 15 pounds of thrust? If so, I have found that a 10 pound plane with about 1100sq in of wing loading is about as high as I like to go. If the wing area goes down to 900in,...
