u know the engine is worn out by it having low compression. if you pull it over slow does it turn over without feeling any resistence? also when u thghtened the head bolts did u make sure to go...

not enough info. could b a number of reasons. not tuned right. leak in the fuel system. worn engine.

things to check would be first if the batteries in your car are full charged. second to make sure its adjusted so the servo will be tight when u go to break.
as for the engine 140 is very low....

no thats good...i would say that the engine should not be leaned to full potential till 10 tanks tho. so if it is running rich right now...lean 1/16-1/8 turn per tank untill it is just running...

as for glow plug. u can use a os 8. its a medium heat. but its a decent plug.if not that then use a hot plug. i believe any 1/10 buggy shell will fit...just a matter of maby having to drill new...

hevnt done this in a long time...but if i remember corectly u start the HSN at about 3 turns out...and the LSN about 2 turns out....and that is just a universal setting i belive...u do know about the...

sweet...dont know if i put this cuz i got a bad memory lol...but i put a cooling head off a .28 on my cmt15...its way better =) but ive been thinking ov getting one with more power...

sorry if im a bit late...but u may also need to put some alumn foil around part of the fins if it is really cols...and make sure not to let the engine get cold or it wont start...or atleast will be...

yeah i want to get my front diff back in so i can go hill climbing. i striped a gear, and took it out, and love the burnout and donut abilities, but i loved hillcliming.

nice...i may do that if the problem occurs to me...im gettin rdy to get my truggy up and runnin, need to set up some gear ratios, burnt a clutch cuz i never chaged it when i put the monster tires on...

you can never have to much compression...unless it gets to the point where the fuel is pre-detonating, this will sound like it is firing early, or dirty as if rich, and will make the engine...

WOOT, i replaced my small cooling head on my smt 15 with a much larger cooling head, like 3 times the size off of a xmt 21. much bigger and i should not have the overheating problem now.

fac settings are usually 2.5 on hsn and 2 on lsn if i remember right. shouldent need to get new gaskets, what makes u think you need new? are the gaskets cracked and or hard? os 8 glow plug

so i found out my engine was not worn out, no major skuffs. so i got to looking, and the reason it was over heating was because of a air leak around the needle valve. little thing causing a BIG...

go here...looks like lots of parts for the speedy tiger rcworld they have the dogbones u need, unless u dont have the buggy like i am thinking, but they also have other smartech parts :D
