The extra power is for the floats not for hovering around with. I still suggest some serious lightening (which can be done on the floats) or a little more engine.

It will fly, but it might be a little on the gutless side. The OS 40 fits well in the cowl and pulls it around. Turns are a real hoot, it knife edges around instead of a nice coordinated turn.

It looks like I am going to build it. Moved to a new house, have a workshop and a hankerin. Not to mention another kid.

Horizontally opposed cylinders. Like an old VW engine, Subaru engines or just about any gas twin out there on the market for Model Airplanes.

Someone mentioned in an ealier post that Graphtec RC Composites was closed. This was incorrect.
They are alive and well and producing stock daily.

Makes it really easy to adjust the linkage without having to disconnect anything. Just turn the rod to expand or decrease the length.
