Finally maidened the Extra clone today. Had 2 long flights to trim it out. Just needed 2 clicks of right aileron. Brought back memories of the original.
I forgot how much fuel that YS120 sucks up....

I had the same problem with the servo tray. I have now scrapped it and made a different layout. I believe the problem could have been avoided if the tray had been cut with the grain going crosswise....

Thanks for all your comments. Actually I should have made it clearer, that I plan to rotate the tank 90 degrees in the horizontal plane. My main concern is the clunk pickup.

Are there any known problems when installing a tank sideways (90 degrees to the
direction the engine is pointing). This is for a fixed wing semi scale plane.

If you want to check the “quality” of aluminium servo horns just compare the splines using a jewelers magnifier.
For example, check Secraft versus Hobbyking, then make your decision.
