Hi Fidelity,

did you put some acid on the rod as well as in the threaded brass sleeve? if not you can clean it and add some paste and reheat this will ensure a throughly covered weld and solid....

Just come out of the heavy fumes of lacquer and epoxy paint. Even when you use a gaz filtered full face mask, and proper evacuation of the fumes you get "buzzed" by it. Two beers mixed...

Hi Nigel, I'm not familiar with aliphatic PVA, the glue I' m using is Titebond wood glue which is an aliphatic type ogf glue, but I'm curious to know where to buy this stuff so I can try it out.

All panel lines, minor repairs are done and ready for the second primer and pre paint stage!!! finally .Not that I'm in a hurry to do the rivets but there will certainely be a pause between the next...

You should use the JB Weld to glue on the door hinges. I fear the epoxy you are using will crack and you may loose a door. The JB Weld adheres much better on metal than the clear...

I got to do , re-do, all the panel lines ,14 rolls of 1/64 tape. My back ache of working with the head down and carefully placing those tapes. what a mission it was....
