RE: Align ESC with governor

Ah, can you elaborate as to why not run it in governor mode? Because that is the main reason I would buy a new ESC. A governor (if it works well) makes programming flight modes so much easier.

RE: problem charging NiMH with Apache Smart Charger 2030

They have been charged with a timed charger only. I'll try to balance them, good idea.

My new charger never terminated properly. I'll try your suggestions, thx.

RE: problem charging NiMH with Apache Smart Charger 2030

These weren't new packs. They have been charged at least 10 times with C/2. Is that maybe still to high? Is it any good if I try to charge them a few times now with C/10, or will it not matter now?...

problem charging NiMH with Apache Smart Charger 2030

Hi,

I recently bought an Apache Smart Charger 2030. This is a charger capable of charging 1-8 cell NiCd/NiMH or 1-3 cell lipo. I had no problems charging my 2s lipo. But when I charged my 7 cell...

RE: Remove loctite

It are indeed the mounting screws holding the engine to the chassis that are stuck. I guess I'll have to look for this easyout ... And use the blue loctite next time :)

RE: Remove loctite

I can't remove the engine from the car, so I cannot put it in the oven. And I fear I did use the red loctite. What is this easyout?

Remove loctite

Hi,

I want to rebuild the engine of my MT2. When I got it a year ago, I used some loctite on the four screws holding the engine. Now, I cannot remove them :D I read on the website of loctite, I...

RE: ? Huh!

Jep, I did the same thing. But I would still advise you to place the shims for the differentials. At least, with my MT2, there was quite some play in the gear meshing. Placing the shims gives the...

RE: fuel question

Whoa, 30 min. For real? With the stock 160cc tank? That's promising. My MT2 with a 75cc tank hardly lasts 10 min (.15 engine). And I was under the impression that a bigger engine consumed more fuel....

RE: Savage .25 Engine life

You break it in ok (take your time to this good),then tune it OK, don't run too lean and it will last a long time if you're not into racing. I have an engine which still runs fine after 2.5 years...

RE: Cooling Problem....NEED HELP

I am shure it is not tuned OK, or you might have an air leak somewhere. The T-15 I have runs very cool with the standard heatsink and no extra holes in the body. So first check for air leaks, then...

any known flaws of the savage 25 rtr?

Hi,

I purchased an HPI MT2 2 months ago. I knew that there was a batch which had some assembly errors (in the diffs and the slipper clutch) I checked before firing the truck up. Now my brother...

RE: Pipe for HPI T-15 engine.

I have heard some good things about this pipe in combination with the T-15. It's a tuned pipe for low rpm.
