RE: CX2 body on a CX3?

Yes, it'll fit since the body mounts are in the same spot. In fact, I don't think we still have a CX3 here with the stock body.

RE: mCX first outdoor flight!

Your hobby shop will also have bearing oil with a needle applicator, this is what I use.

RE: mCX first outdoor flight!

Dry graphite lube works the best, but I've also used thin machine oil. Use either one sparingly.

RE: Whats your average cost of repairs after crashing.

My most expensive crash cost over $700, but that was almost 20 years ago. But, keep it in perspective, that was when a good heli cost $1,200 & still didn't come with the motor or radio gear. Let's...

RE: toilet bowl effect

For TBE, check the flybar first. There are other causes, but the flybar is the usual suspect. Make sure it moves freely, is centered, & bar isn't bent.

RE: which motor goes were

Those are GREAT motors. If drifting is the only problem, then it should be an easy fix. Be thorough & let us know how it turned out.

RE: which motor goes were

Drifts to the left as in slides to the left? Sounds like swash trim. If you've trimmed it as much as you can, turn the little servo connectors to readjust your center so you can get back to using...

RE: which motor goes were

When looking down at the top, the upper blades rotate CCW & the lowers rotate CW. It doesn't matter where the motors are placed, only that they are plugged in to rotate the proper direction.

RE: WHY THE STUPID TOILET BOWL EFFECT??

They've given you some good info, some other things to check that we run into are 1) bent flybar, 2) flybar weights not equidistant from the center (sometimes they get tweaked in a crash) 3)...

RE: Looking for a 4 channel heli (Co-axial) that batteries can be swapped out one after another..

The E-Flite CX2, or the smaller MCX & MCX2 can have the batteries quickly changed. The CX3 is a bit more difficult because of the body, but it still only takes a few minutes.

RE: Best bet for my 8 year old? Need Help...

If you want a Christmas gift that will last, you need to look at a hobby-grade heli instead of a toy-grade. Spend some time at your local hobby shop, since they'll more than likely be where you'll be...

RE: new MSR defect ? please help!!

Actually, it IS supposed to lean like that. That's a good thing. Many full size heli's do that as well. You're good to go.

RE: cx swashplate quality

We've done testing with aftermarket aluminum swashplates & also failed to find the perfect one. But, with feedback, Microheli was able to come out with a version 2 of their aluminum swashplate (P/N...

RE: Blade CX2 OR CX3

Be careful, the CX2 & CX3 are NOT internally the same. Different gyro & the CX2 takes hopups such as the brushless motor setup much better. CX2 is, IMHO, a MUCH better flyer AND it's cheaper to...

RE: Boy am I stumped....

The E-Flite MCX is a great little helicopter, it's tame & great to fly indoors. The E-Flite MSR is also a great little flier & will grow with your abilities until you're ready for something...

RE: Blade CX3 Conversion

The frame is the same between the CX2 & CX3 as far as the tailboom's concerned so it'll be just fine.

RE: Blade CX2 Problem

Flybar is the topmost item on the shaft. Read through the manual (follow the links above) & familiarize yourself with your heli. You're going to break stuff when you fly & you'll need to be able...

RE: Blade CX2 Problem

You say it's shaking - if it's 'tail wag', then your problem is most likely gyro gain & needs adjustment. If it's the heli body itself, start with: blades nicked or out of balance, bent flybar,...

I'm sorry, I just re-read my post & thought it sounded confusing. Is this better?:

RE: Blade cx2 upgrade cnc or eflite?

It has a balance plug, & we use an aftermarket charger, but I do know people using the stock charger on the 40C although SMC says not to....  so we repeat what they (SMC) say. Clear as mud? How about...

RE: Blade cx2 upgrade cnc or eflite?

We carry both the 800-LE 20C battery as well as the CM08502S 40C batteries. See here: http://www.dreamplastics.com/dhp/upgrade.php

As for carbon tailbooms, we like the one we make (currently,...

RE: Blade cx2 upgrade cnc or eflite?

We too have found very little weight difference & a great improvement in precision when using aluminum parts. Be careful though, there are more than a few bad upgrades out there that will do little...
