RE: Wing Jet EP - Feasible drone chassis ?

OK, so if nobody can even give me a Yes or a No............

I'm thinking that your "UAV craft" could be as small as having a metre wingspan, if the electronics contained within it are compact...

The (real) Blade MCX IS your Flight Simulator ;)
...likewise, the (real) Blade CX2 IS also your Flight Simulator! ;)

Really, one major aspect of a Sim is that you can learn to fly an R/C Heli...

RE: Can you actually learn something from the MCX?

A short answer to your question would be, 'skip' the MCX and buy the Blade CX2.
I have recently test flown the MCX, it virtually flys itself, it's that stable! Even a 5yr old could fly this micro...

RE: Best RTF Heli after HBFP and Walk 36

IMHO It would have to be a THUNDER TIGER - MINI TITAN.
True 450 class electric Heli. Greater build quality than a Blade 400 - More stable to fly too! Looks stunning! (around the same price for the...

RE: When people ask you...

I'm also one not to complain or who finds it hard to say No, but with my Heli's, if someone comes up and asks for a fly..... NO WAY!!!

Regarding my 450 class Heli - those rotor blades are...

RE: Father and Son getting into the hobby.

The CX2 is a great Heli to start out with. It will definately help you learn the necessary eye 2 hand co-ordination in order to handle a larger Heli.

At this stage you can also develop the...

Home made HELI-PAD !?

Hi guys,

I'm planning to make my own Heli-Pad out of hardwood/MDF.
This is so I can place it down in a local field, and it will become a nice solid base to take off/land from. :)

Before I...

RE: Newbie getting into the hobby

I have to agree with the N00b above! :) ...For your budget, go for the Belt CP.
It is fully capable of 3D flying and actually comes in around your budget. Plus as the name suggests, the tail is...

RE: Opinions on training gear

I will also say though, that if you are setting your Heli down on ground that might not be completely flat, like a field or grass, the training gear can help the Heli sit more evenly, when spooling...

RE: **The NEW Blade CP Pro 2 RTF 2.4**

Luv2Flyallday , have you ACTUALLY flown or handled a T-Rex? No, thought not! ;) A comparison is not really valid. Infact the CP2 is smaller than the Blade 400 also... everything, rotor blade span,...

RE: Blade 400 and Wind...

Head speed is also a factor, when discussing the Heli's ability to fly "through" gusts/wind.

It even affects a solid hover in NO wind. For example, when your Lipo is low you 'hear' the head...

RE: flying without flybar weights

Generally you add Flybar weights to the Heli to slow down cyclic response, creates a heavier rotating mass = Heli becomes less sensitive and more dosile.
Weights fitted up to the flybar paddles...
