RE: POST A PIC OF YOUR DRIFTER THREAD!!!!!!!!!

Welcome. My name is Shane too, unless your username isn't your real name. Anyways, I don't know anything about the 4-tec, but I do know that if you want to drift... get hard tires. If you want to go...

RE: optimus prime body for stampede

If it fits the Maxx it might fit the Stampede. I have a HPI Savage body on my Maxx and it fits fine. Just check the dimensions and if they match or are very close you can probably get it to fit.

RE: Lights

I have a Ram led set as well. I was going to make my own, but the price of LEDs, wires, switch etc were like 5 bucks cheaper than the Ram set. I figured if I work for myself at 5 bucks an hour... it...

What size are the BBS-Style rims you got on it now? And are you going to sell them when you get new ones. I have those rims on my 1:1 car and I want my RC car to have the same rims :D

RE: Patriotic Crawler body!!

Wow... did you paint that giant flag? That's seriously really good! Very detailed, it actually looks like a fabric flag is glued on the body... Very nice work!!

RE: Tips on 2 Color Paint Job?

Lexan paints (Polycarbonate) is flexible. It will bend with each crash. Also, it's a good idea to back all your coats anyways. I know it's more money for paint, but it will make the color (specially...

RE: Will Silicone Eat Through Tamiya Paint?

Shoe Goo would be a lot better. It's made for repairing USED shoes... used shoes are dirty... RC cars are dirty... you know where I'm going with this ;)

It shouldn't mess with your paint either....

So lets start a vote!

1. Stay with 12% oil and just get a better brand (O'Donnells, Byron, Trinity). You can...

I've got a RS4 Drift, still using stock body so it looks just like the one above (Silvia Body) except I have a light kit (head lights, tail lights that get brighter when I hit brakes). I put it on...

Quick question about fuel inlet position

Alright, I have to rotate the fuel line inlet thingy (the piece that the fuel line pops onto which feeds fuel to the HSN) because my fuel line is in the way of my throttle servo. I took it off to...

RE: High Temps! Bad Fuel?!

Well, with my first nitro engine (TRX 3.3) I never worried about temps that much. As long as it ran fine and didn't bog or groan I was ok; however, that engine lasted 2 months and it still runs fine,...

RE: High Temps! Bad Fuel?!

I'm pretty sure the .18 SS kit had the same engine that the drift has. I know with the body off it's hard to heat up, usually stays under 200 for awhile. I don't hit full throttle till like half a...

RE: [Awaiting Approval]

Dunno, if I see him again I'll ask. When I brought the car in to shut it down and get ready to go the cop was already pulling out. I didn't have time to ask and really I wanted them gone anyways.
