Subscribing now.

I've been following this project via Lance's web site for a year now. I just happened across this thread.

Keep up the awesome work Lance. As a father of 3 small children,...

RE: New KMP PC-21

Glad to hear it went well. I've started wondering why no one has come out with wheels with little bearings in the hubs for planes around 15 lbs and heavier. I suppose some planes would never stop...

RE: VQ Pilatus Porter PC-6 Electric Conversion

Good thread Tom. I don't mind the new color scheme but I don't love it either. Should be very easy to see though.

RE: VQ Pilatus Porter PC-6 Electric Conversion

For those of you wondering what happened to this thread:

This plane was discontinued, redesigned, and re-released in an a version that requires no electric conversion. Because of this, I...

RE: NEW NitroModels Flying Cat 90 R/C Pusher Jet

More Questions:

Does anyone know of any video of this plane anywhere?

Also, this plane looks like it should be really fast. Is it, or is the wing and fuse too thick? I'm still trying to...

RE: Finally started my experimental Airplane... Check this out.

It looks like more than a "start." I'll be watching to see how it progresses.

RE: Helicopter flyer get out of my *&%$%^ way

[/quote]
I wouldn't say that.

It seems to work out pretty well that while some of the bank n rip types fly the circle, others can get some 3D done low and over the runway. We do it all the...

RE: Helicopter flyer get out of my *&%$%^ way

In this thread are several comments about "right" or "rights". At my field, those rights are defined by the club rules. I don't have any rights at that private field that aren't spelled out in the...

RE: Reason for not upgrading to 2.4

I basically started flying with 2.4 and have never had a radio hiccup. I love the antennae being smaller and out of the way. I love not messing with frequency pins like I’ve had to on my cars and...

RE: VQ Pilatus Porter PC-6 Electric Conversion

Standard servos are fine.

This ARF does not feature flaps. My plan is to cut flaps in to the wing.

Sorry about the slow progress but I need to raise 3 children (ages 3, 6, and 9) and...

RE: KMP Pilatus PC-21 Build

It does look great. Sorry to hear you had a radio problem. What do you plan to do to quiet the muffler?

Take care.

RE: VQ Pilatus Porter PC-6 Electric Conversion

BTW- I did start cutting in servos. The servo holes in the wings are oriented so that the servos are broadside to the wind. I decided to cut the mounts out and mount them flat and hidden in the...

RE: VQ Pilatus Porter PC-6 Electric Conversion

I didn't get any interest at the beginning, when I posted the thread so I sorta let it slide.

The update is this- I've ordered a 4020 Scorpion and an appropriate speed control for the motor. ...

RE: Mark Engines (Hungarian Moki) Announces New 1.40's

We have a moki 135 sitting in the shop for $285.00. It's a bit dusty because it doesn't get much attention. I was thinking of grabbing it and trying it.

What problems were you having...
