RE: How many times do you crash?

I crash about 50% of the time. I've been at this hobby for going on 7 years and feel i would be an ideal candidate for presidency of cobb county rc club.

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!

I agree which explains the "for me" qualifier. I would get this engine over the ys 160 anyday.

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!

If I pay 550.00 for an engine it will be for a 50cc. It would make a good match, but the line has to be drawn for me at spending considerably less that required to outfit a 50cc class plane.

RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!

I'm curious how the b36 performs in this plane. I'm sort of on the fence between gas and glow after reading this thread. Actually I never even considered gas until reading that Chris H. liked the...

RE: Peeing contest--let's go

This is a test post. I did not want to clutter a constructive thread and I chose this one.

Dubro servo arms color coded?

Are the dubro heay duty servo arms color coded? If they are, what colors correspond to JR and Hitec. I've only purchased hitec and jr arms by dubro. Somehow all my servo arms ended up in one box. I...

RE: OMP 47" Yak

CG was per instructions. The thrust line is paralell with the fuse laterally. Will adding right or decreasing right thrust fix the problem? A fellow by the the name of Gator on the other site had the...

RE: OMP 47" Yak

I built one of these. Waterfalls were really tight but it had a wicked belly tuck in knife edge.

Epsilon arc finishing questions.

I have an epsilon arc and the only manual I have been able to find is the one on ca model's website (www.camodel.com.ar) The only instructions I can find are for taking the kit to arc form. There is...

RE: widebody 60 pics and info wanted

Has anyone used the OS 1.08 fsr on this plane. It looks like it would be a good match.

RE: SSE Way 2 Fast, Help

I never had any problem with 11X5 props and I have a .46 on mine. I don't know why anyone would want to use the 12.25X3.75 on this plane.

RE: Why I hate the LHS

I never paid much attention to isolated complaints about a certain arf or anything else. This applies to hobby stores also. When I keep hearing the same thing and witness it first hand, I tend to...

RE: Why I hate the LHS

I think hobbytown usa is a joke for an rc store. I wouldn't reccomend any beginner asking advise there. I'm just going by what I've seen from 2 here in the metro Atlanta area. The employees don't...

RE: Aeroworks .40 Size Edge Vs. Pacific Aeromodel's .40 size Edge

I had a pac 40 and it flew pretty good. It isn't a 3d plane. There is a reason there are no 3d videos of this bird despite a 17 page long thread.

RE: Servo's

belfish, I would get a profile for learning 3D. Standard servos work fine in these planes. Hitec 425's are very popular with 40 size profiles. They aren't the best but if you are just learning, you...

RE: Now what do i do ??

Have you considered a profile? These are a lot of fun. They are much more capable than any .40-.60 size scale aerobat out there. They are quite a bit cheaper too. They offer a good introduction to...

RE: Club know-it-all.

Well I question your motivation. In one post you say you want to help him and later in the same post, you say want to shut him up. It's pretty obvious his lack of employment is a sore spot with you....
