ZK-BLK got airborne today.

The wind finally died down and allowed me to get ZK-BLK out of the shop. First flight went well with no trim required. Great flying A/C. :o

I stripped, recovered, and painted the H9 Tiger Moth as ZK-BLK. The other is now going to be stripped and redone as another New Zealand Tiger Moth ZK-BRC. Nothing like a Tiger Moth.

I fitted my Saito 150 using the existing firewall...

I fitted my Saito 150 using the existing firewall mounts. Two minutes with a small round file on one side of the mount did it. Great engine for this A/C.

Something to add. The engine and hence the glow plug sit high in the cowl. If you don't use the on board glow system you will need a very long glow driver.
